Pär Bengtsson (21 July 1922 – 23 October 2007) was a Swedish professional footballer who played as a striker. == Club career == === Halmstads BK === Bengtsson began playing for his local team, Halmstads BK, who had just been promoted to the Allsvenskan, the highest level of football in Sweden. Although World War II was going on at the time, Sweden was neutral, though playing sports in wartime did mean that the roster had to be rotated more often than normal.

William Bingham Goodrich (1821-1862) was an American colonel and lawyer who served as commander of the 60th New York Infantry Regiment and of the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Division, XII Corps during the American Civil War before being killed in the early hours of the Battle of Antietam. == Biography == === Early life === William Bingham Goodrich was born on December 1, 1821, as the son of Hubbard Goodrich, M. Ulysses is an American indie rock band formed by Robert Schneider (lead vocalist of The Apples in Stereo) along with John Ferguson and Ben Fulton in early 2003. Robert Beatty (of Hair Police) joined later that year. They released their first album, 010, on October 26, 2004, through Eenie Meenie Records. ʻImiola Church is a historic wood structure in Waimea, on the Island of Hawaiʻi, coordinates 20°1′32″N 155°39′46″W. == History == The church was designed by its first pastor, Lorenzo Lyons. A grass hut had been built on this spot for visiting preachers some time before 1832 when Rev. Lyons arrived. A new building was constructed of stone walls with a thatched roof between 1837 and 1843. One reason was the earthquake and tsunami of 1837 which caused some to believe (as preached by Millerism) that a new Advent of Christ would arrive in 1843.

Rain Perry (born November 9, 1966) is an American folk-rock singer-songwriter. She has released six albums on her own label, Precipitous Records. Her song "Beautiful Tree" was the theme song for the CW Network series Life Unexpected. "Yosemite," from her debut album Balance, won the Grand Prize (Folk Division) in the 2000 John Lennon Songwriting Contest and was recorded by Tom Russell and Nanci Griffith.

The 1997 IBAF Intercontinental Cup was held in Barcelona, Spain from August 1 through to August 10, 1997. Eight countries contested the tournament including Cuba, Australia, Italy, Nicaragua, Japan, France, United States of America and the host Spain. The tournament was sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation. The tournament saw the Japan national baseball team stun the Cuba national baseball team in the final, 11-2, ending a 14-year tournament dominance which included 7 tournament golds.
