Hovedøya is one of several small islands off the coast of Oslo, Norway in the Oslofjord. The island is quite small, no more than 800 metres across in any direction, the total area is 0,4 square kilometre. It is well known for its lush and green nature, with a wide variety of trees, bushes and flowers. For many, many years there was a military base on the island. == The name == The name is from Norse times (Hǫfudøy). The first element is hǫfud 'head' (here in the sense 'hill' or 'height'), the last element is the finite form of øy 'island'.

Maxie Patton Kizzire (born March 3, 1986) is an American professional golfer, currently playing on the PGA Tour. == Amateur career == Kizzire was born in Montgomery, Alabama, grew up in Tuscaloosa, and played his college golf at Auburn University. He earned all-Southeastern Conference first team honors in 2006–07. He won the 2007 SEC Championship. He graduated in 2008 with a Business degree. Kizzire placed third at the 2003 U.S. Junior Open.

St Olave's Church is a redundant Anglican parish church located in Lower Bridge Street, Chester, Cheshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. == History == The church was founded in the 11th century. Its dedication is to the 11th-century patron saint of Norway, St Olaf. At the time that the church was founded, the area around Lower Bridge Street was largely occupied by Scandinavians, and it is thought that this is the reason for the dedication. The present church building dates from 1611.

The geologic record in stratigraphy, paleontology and other natural sciences refers to the entirety of the layers of rock strata. That is, deposits laid down by volcanism or by deposition of sediment derived from weathering detritus (clays, sands etc.). This includes all its fossil content and the information it yields about the history of the Earth: its past climate, geography, geology and the evolution of life on its surface. According to the law of superposition, sedimentary and volcanic rock layers are deposited on top of each other.

Carl Larsen Park is a 6.6-acre (2.7 ha) neighborhood park in the Parkside District of San Francisco. It lies on the west side of 19th Avenue, at the intersection with Vicente, and just north of Stern Grove. The park is named for Carl Larsen, a chicken rancher, who donated the land for the park to the City in 1926.

Pakistan was the host nation for the second time when the 9th South Asian Games were held in its capital, Islamabad between 29 March and 7 April 2004. The country participated in all 15 sports. Its medal tally of 143 placed it second amongst the seven nations. Swimming was its most successful event, where it won 27 medals (13 silver, 14 bronze), though without any gold. Athletics were a close second with 25 medals (5 gold, 8 silver, 12 bronze) and shooting third with 24 medals (2 gold, 14 silver, 8 bronze).

Umberto Alongi (born 26 July 1976) is a Swiss Italian singer and songwriter. == Biography == After living and sharing his time for years between Italy (where he was born) and Switzerland, beginning in 2014 he has been producing two solo albums through the record labels Im Digital, Auditoria Reccords and with Me & U Records and Artists Management based in London. Alongi sings in Italian, Spanish and English and he also plays the guitar. As of September 2015 he is included in the Swiss pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
